Grand Knight

Brothers, Families and Friends:
 

I am sitting here thinking of the right thing to say, I am a third generation member and a second generation Grand Knight, and to borrow something from my past years I would like to see the new and current members get involved in the many activities we have here at the council instead of just being a card carrying member.

As I embark in my journey with the new slate of officers and Columbian Club president I am hopeful that this will be just as good as in years past. We are in the process of getting all our events lined up, but a few that are planned include the picnic on Sept 6th were we will again be honoring fellow Knight members and any of their families currently serving in the Armed Forces. We also have the installation of officers, along with our Past Grand Knight dinner to honor the accomplishment of Andy Schopfer. In closing I pray that this year will be just as good as in years past.
